From the moment of arrival, you’re guided through a quiet progression – landscaped thresholds, highly-considered lobbies, and finally, home. Each space speaks to the next, creating a considered rhythm of retreat and return.

A communal space offers a place for shared moments surrounded by the greenery of the rich landscape and vegetation. The entrance forecourt, framed by soft landscaping extends this invitation. These gestures are subtle yet deliberate, designed to bring people together – or simply offer the opportunity to breathe. Finrose is where light finds home. Where nature and neighbours shape daily life. Where you belong.

A home built for connection.

Unique in its form and function, Finrose brings together two distinct design ideas without compromise. Above, residential apartments offer generous, well-considered living spaces. Below, the re-imagined church remains – modernised to also serve a contemporary community. Together, these spaces invite connection and interaction yet remain independent in their own right. Drawing inspiration from the site, the design makes a considered nod to the timeless hues of natural sandstone and the heritage façade of the church.

“Finrose celebrates the coming together of people at the heart of Lane Cove. We’ve created a people’s place where the rich site history and character of Lane Cove have been highly considered and designed in a way that connects community, nature, and place.”

Rido Pin
Director, Plus Studio

Made for gathering.

Designed with intention, the communal lawn and garden is a shared space. A place to sit with others, and to linger under the afternoon sun. Occupying the south-western corner of the site, it captures warmth and light at just the right time of day, each day. This thoughtful positioning is just one of the many settings amongst Finrose that naturally connects people to place, and each other.

“The planting selection has been carefully considered to reflect the character of Lane Cove National Park, using a palette that feels inherently connected to the surrounding bushland. This approach strengthens a clear sense of place and helps the landscape integrate naturally with its context.”

Charlie Robinson
Director, Land + Form

At the heart of the residences, a shared space invites quiet moments on soft lawns framed by lush gardens. A communal BBQ and shaded undercover areas create opportunities for relaxed gatherings, fostering a sense of ease and connection among neighbours.
